I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two-time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
